1. Event Overview

On September 22, 2026, AIESEC Surat organized “Global Village,” a cultural festival at VR Surat bringing together the cultures of various countries through cross-cultural exchange. As part of this festival, an “Operation Zero Bribe” talk show was organized with the objective of building transparency, ethics, and civic responsibility among youth.

The talk show focused on collective action against corruption and the role young people can play in driving that change.

2. Proceedings

  • The talk show was moderated by Rishabh Sindhav.
  • Advocate Harsh Shukla spoke on anti-corruption laws, legal provisions, and the legal

rights available to ordinary citizens, emphasizing the need for citizens to stay aware of their rights.

  • Pratyusha Sattur shared international experience and discussed the role of technology and

transparent systems in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Devanshi Punjabi spoke on using literature, storytelling, and digital integrity to shift the

normalized ‘chalta hai’ (it’s fine, let it go) mindset among youth toward corruption.

  • Operation Zero Bribe founder Harshit Hemnani spoke on the thinking behind the

campaign, explaining that when an individual’s decision not to pay a bribe becomes a collective habit, it can grow into a broad public awareness movement.

  • The session closed with a quick-fire round in which participants pledged to speak up

against fear, silence, and negligence. Youth present at VR Surat responded with enthusiastic support for the message of awareness and transparency.
